trip I have taken where everything worked out like clockwork as it did on this trip. Once
again thank you for your help in planning what turned out to be the best vacation we have
ever had! It was the vacation of a
lifetime, but I intend to try my best to make it the vacation of the year (or every other
year?). It was the first time I’d ever done this kind of vacation, but it sure could
become a habit! It’s nice to be met at the airport and to know where you’re
going to be sleeping that night. Again, I thank you. It was the
vacation that dreams are made of, and I will have the dreams forever. Plus, I made friends
who have showed me that I can go on my own the next time. Highlights - meeting
the two week old black rhino at the headquarters of the Matasudona Park; on a walk coming
upon sleeping lions who woke up and weren’t happy to see us; playing with the baby
lions in Vic Falls; the adrenaline charge of the elephant that destroyed part of the camp
at Ruckomechi. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to gather memories for a
lifetime. You were correct that Zimbabwe offers
so much to the traveler who wants to see more than animals. Between the animals, the
landscape, Vic Falls, Great Zimbabwe, the people, and the infrastructure, the country is
truly wonderful. We left enriched by the experience. Thank you for your
efforts in helping prepare the trip for us! Best regards. This was our first trip to Africa. I
had a business trip in Cape Town and wanted to capitalize on this opportunity. I found
Ultimate Africa’s website and began correspondence about what our options were. They
were very helpful and we had a excellent trip. I had never done business with anyone over
the internet and was very nervous about wiring money to cover our trip. It was a welcome
relief when we stepped off the plane in South Africa and were met by the people Ultimate
Africa had set up for us. We had a great time and did not have anything go wrong. All the
accommodations were just as Ultimate Africa had described them. We went
whitewater rafting with at Victoria Falls and had a great time. They are very safety
conscious and had rescue staff in kayaks leading and following the rafts. If you visit the
falls, I would recommend seeing the falls from both sides. On the Zambia side you get a
different perspective and also get much closer to the edge. At time you can see over into
the canyon, down to the river. We enjoyed it, but plan on getting very wet. The tented
safari was a lot of fun also. At night you could hear the lions roar and we had
wildebeest outside our tent on more than one night. I don’t have any other
tour providers to compare our trip to, but it was everything Ultimate Africa had
told us. They was very straight forward in their descriptions of the hotels or the
activities and I would recommend their services. (This testimonial was sent to a
prospective client from the Maples Family who also forwarded the message to our office). In Spanish we have a saying: "Los
buenos se crecen en las situaciones dificiles" which means that the good
people demostrate their conditions when they are in front of a task...that is what you
