Ultimate Africa safari consultants spend a good part of each year in Africa inspecting hotels, lodges and camps. The right luggage makes packing and unpacking easy (and keeps you in good standing with light airplane pilots who enforce strict luggage limits).

Most of our safaris allow a maximum of 44 pounds of luggage packed in 2 duffel bags per person. Our Ultimate Africa Safaris wheeled duffels are the ONLY wheeled duffels allowed aboard the light air transfers in east and southern Africa (the pilots look for our logo). In addition they meet most international airline’s carry-on requirements allowing Ultimate Africa clients to bypass luggage claim or avoid the risk of having items taken from their checked bags. Most travelers find one wheeled safari duffel, combined with the versatile carry-all shoulder bag, offer just the right amount of storage. Travelers who wish to bring additional luggage can travel with two duffels per person.

Safari Shoulder Bag: Easy-to-reach compartments help you keep your belongings organized and accessible en route. Includes two front pockets for travel documents and reading material. The outside pockets keep an umbrella and water bottle within reach.

Safari Duffel Bag: With its U-shaped opening this bag is easy to pack. Roomy end pockets keep shoes or laundry separate, while the zippered front pocket is great for a book or magazine. The bag features a telescoping handle and wide-set Smoth Glide wheels for easy maneuvering through airport terminals.
