After nearly 500 years of Portuguese rule and a prolonged civil war (which ended in 1992) Mozambique has emerged as one of the hot spots for travelers seeking sand and sun in Africa. Well connected by daily flights from both Johannesburg and east Africa most travelers to Mozambique are drawn to the country’s incredible palm fringed beaches, pristine coral reefs, and island resorts.

Mozambique is a superb “sand and sun” add-on to a wildlife viewing safari (especially for honeymooners) however the country’s tourism infrastructure is weak. We are therefore very conservative in choosing where to send our clients. We want to make sure our clients are impressed with not only their beach accommodations but also service standards and ease of getting to and from their resort.
