Botswana

Wilderness Safaris - Book 6 nights at Wilderness Safaris properties in and receive a 7th night free. Free night may not be taken at Abu or Mombo. Special valid until March 31, 2012.

Wilderness Safaris - This is interesting... this special includes 21 properties across Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe with highly reduced accommodation costs and reduced light air transfer costs... however the special is only applicable during low season and the early part of shoulder season - up to April 15, 2012 - and most of the properties are under-performing (in other words the booking sheets for these particular properties are not very full during this period). Of the 21 properties there are quite a few gems such as Xigera, Duma Tau, Selinda, Tubu Tree Camp, Duba Plains and Banoka Bush Camp in Botswana (all at US $395 per person per night). In Zimbabwe Davison's Camp is included (at US $325 per person per night). At Victoria Falls both Toka Leya and the River Club are included (at US $395 per person per night). In Namibia Kulala Desert Lodge, Kulala Wilderness, Desert Rhino Camp and Andersson's are included (at US $395 per person per night)! In Malawi Chelinda, Mvuu and Mumbo Island are included (at even lower rates). To be applicable travelers must stay at least 3 nights at two of the properties with the exception of Victoria Falls where you must stay 2 nights minimum. In addition single travelers pay NO single supplement and would have a lower surcharge for flights. This special makes it possible to enjoy a 6 to 9 night safari in Namibia or Botswana and Victoria Falls at a HUGE value... Namibia is superb anytime of year so... for Botswana I would suggest focussing on the March / April periods for maximum wildlife. The period April 6 through April 9, 2012 is excluded.
