We also offer a small number high quality scheduled group departures from US $3,650 per person for 2008 (maximum of 8 guests per departure). These trips are perfect for single travelers who wish to avoid paying a large single supplement.

IMPORTANT: Most of the safari lodges and camps we recommend are small, exclusive and dearly sought after. To ensure availability we suggest planning and booking your travel arrangements at least 12 months in advance.

Insider’s tip: At Ultimate Africa we take a conservative stance in planning safaris. We work with companies and properties which we feel are truly special. We are averse to destinations and activities that present safety or quality concerns. Therefore we do not offer mountain climbing (such as Kilimanjaro climbs) and, for the current time, we are not entertaining new bookings to Kenya (US travel warning for terrorism).

Insider’s tip: Many companies note that they offer all inclusive trips. When you actually get to the safari lodge you find there are extra charges for everything from a bush dinner to a village visit. This is not how we operate. Nearly all of our itineraries include all activities, unlimited wildlife viewing mileage (private vehicle / guide also possible), all meals, all snacks, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, park fees, road / boat / air transfers, accommodations, medical air rescue coverage, most taxes and fees. All that is left is tipping, travel insurance and international flights. If any part of a trip is not included we make it clear to each client.
