2017 Best Value African Safari – The Best $5,000 You Can Spend in Africa!

Are you looking for a comfortable all inclusive value safari with Africa’s most highly trained guides, awesome food, lots of activities, and maximum wildlife far from crowds? Look no further than our 10 day “2017 Best Value African Safari” in Zimbabwe. Ultimate Africa Safaris™ president, Ian Proctor, personally designed this trip based on his 25+ years of safari experience in Africa.

You will spend 3 nights at Zambezi Expeditions in Mana Pools and 3 nights at Somalisa Expeditions. The camps are small and intimate. Each tented room, set right amongst the animals, has comfortable beds and en suite flushing toilet / hot camp shower (hot water is brought on request to each room and provides about 5 minutes of showering time with each fill up).

The trip also includes 1 night in Johannesburg, near the airport, at the Doreale Grand Hotel on a bed / breakfast basis and 2 nights at the world’s largest waterfall, Victoria Falls staying in a deluxe room at the Ilala Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. This small hotel has a great location and the best restaurant in town – the Palms! Make sure to tell the manager Martin that Lorna and Ian from Ultimate Africa say “hello” (Lorna here in the office is from Zimbabwe and she went to school with Martin as a child).

While on safari all meals, drinks, park fees, guiding, and activities are included. Partake in day and night wildlife viewing drives in open 4×4 vehicles, canoeing, and professionally guided walks. While at the Falls a guided tour of Falls has been included as well.

This trip is US $3,800 per person April – June and November and US $5,000 per person July – October 2017. In our opinion this is the best value, highest quality, safari on the African continent… hands down. Pricing includes light air transfers from Harare to Mana Pools, Mana Pools to Hwange, and Hwange to Victoria Falls. International flights (which we can help with) would be separate.

This trip is best June through September. You can expect sunny days with highs near 80 and lows near 50… October works as well although it gets very hot. Daytime highs can easily exceed 100 degrees in the shade. Fortunately it is a dry heat!
