The 2019 Safari Awards saw a number of our favorite East African safari and beach properties win:

Greystoke Mahale – this famed chimpanzee trekking camp on the shores of Lake Tanganyika won best design and best safari experience in Tanzania! This place not only offers some of Africa’s best chimp trekking it it the perfect substitute for those wanting to include beach time at the end of their safari!

Gibbs Farm – situated near Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater Gibb’s won best safari cuisine… I concur as I have noted in the past I would happily marry the chef there. Gibb’s has also won #2 hotel in Africa and #16 in world according to Conde Nast in 2016.

Sirikoi House – Set in Kenya’s awesome Lewa Wilderness Sirikoi won best safari house… it is awesome and if you visit check out their organic gardens where they grow a jaw dropping variety of fruits and veges!
