Tswalu Tarkuni Special – South Africa’s Largest Private Game Reserve

Want to visit somewhere really special? Space has opened up at South Africa’s largest privately owned game reserve – Tswalu! Owned by the Oppenheimer Family you and your friends can take over Tarkuni Homestead for your exclusive use… Tarkuni is actually the Oppenheimers private home on the reserve.

In addition to great rhino and lion we love being able to follow wild dogs hunting across the open terrain – a really unique experience.

For the remainder of 2017 all inclusive (all meals, drinks, activities) pricing is as follows (we have based this on the South African Rand at US $1 = R13). This is for exclusive / private use of Tarkuni Homestead. All 5 rooms, lounge, kitchen, pool… private chef, guides, and so on…

4 guests – US $1,530 per person per night
6 guests – US $1,230 per person per night
8 guests – US $1,110 per person per night
10 guests – US $890 per person per night

Stay 4 nights and the 4th night would be FREE!

Considering the 5 star experience to be had at Tswalu the above is a huge value!

In addition to the above Tswalu has introduced helicopter excursions in their Agusta Westland 119 VIP helicopter:

A 35 minute heli tour of the reserve is US $280 per person based on 4 guests max. You would be hosted by a member of their conservation team. This trip contributes to saving 1 of Tswalu’s rhino for a one day.

Another great option is their Koranneberg Mountain Pick heli excursion. Also US $280 per person based on 4 people max this trip offers uninterrupted views of Kalahari – in fact this peak is inaccessible by land  so you can be part of a handful of people to ever set foot here!
