Full itinerary and trip details below:

DAY 1 NAIROBI You will be met upon arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer by road to Ngong Hills House. Ngong Hills House is a private home on a 10 acre estate with stunning views of Ngong Hills. The home accommodates 8 guests in 4 separate "tree houses" (elevated cottages). During the day you may enjoy a pleasant walk through the surrounding countryside. The Giraffe Center is only a 10 minute stroll away and a 4 wheel drive Land Rover is on standby to travel further afield. NAIROBI, Ngong Hills Treehouse, full board basis

DAY 2 LAKE MANYARA After breakfast you will be transferred to the Wilson Airport in time to board your scheduled flight (included) to Kilimanjaro Airport. Upon arrival you will transfer by scheduled flight (included) to Lake Manyara. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Situated deep in the heart of a mahogany forest within the park, this new lodge accommodates guests in ten spacious tree-houses with open-air showers and bathrooms. The décor is a combination of bleached wood and woven makuti (palm fronds) in natural tones and textures. The new lodge is situated about a kilometer from the lakeshore with easy access to the water. The lodge offers guests intimacy, romance, privacy and cool surrounds. Activities include wildlife viewing drives and professionally guided walks within Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park supports a wide variety of wildlife due to its diverse habitats. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits. The Park is also home to sizable populations of elephant, hippo, giraffe, and buffalo. Activities include wildlife viewing drives within the park. LAKE MANYARA, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, all inclusive

DAY 3 NGORONGORO CRATER After breakfast you will transfer by road to Crater Lodge arriving in time for lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater contains a hidden world teeming with wildlife. This afternoon you will descend from the lush rain forest on the rim to the savanna bush and acacia woodland of the crater floor for an afternoon of wildlife viewing. You are very likely to see black maned lion, the highly endangered black rhino, wildebeest, zebra, elephant, hippo, jackal, and hyena. Late this evening you will drive back up to the crater rim for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. If you wish to stay at Crater Lodge Tree Camp please inquire about the extra cost of doing so. NGORONGORO CRATER, Crater Lodge, all inclusive

DAY 4 NGORONGORO CRATER Perched on the rim of the crater and inspired by ancient African architecture, guests at Crater Lodge are accommodated in 30 private cottages with en suite facilities, each with a deck offering dazzling views of the crater floor 500 meters below. Rooms are complimented by graceful antiques, grand chandeliers, and magnificent hand carved four poster beds. After an early breakfast you will enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in the crater with a picnic lunch. NGORONGORO CRATER, Crater Lodge, all inclusive

DAYS 5, 6, 7 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast on day 5 you will depart by road to the Serengeti plains with a stop at Olduvai Gorge. The Serengeti is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. At certain times of the year these vast, seemingly unending, plains are inhabited by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. In the calving season (February-March) the herds concentrate at the Ndutu and Salei plains attracting the attention of predators like lion, cheetah and hyena. You will spend three all inclusive nights at Grumeti River Tented Camp (depending upon the time of year other lodges or camps may be suggested and the overall trip costing will change) - a small luxury camp situated in a remote valley in the western corridor of the Serengeti, overlooking a tributary of the Grumeti River. The camp has 10 private walk in tents with en suite facilities. Activities include game drives in the Serengeti. There is also a pool. SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK, Grumeti River Tented Camp, all inclusive

DAYS 8, 9 AMBOSELI After breakfast on day 8 you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip in time to board your scheduled flight (included) to Arusha where you will enjoy lunch. From Arusha you will transfer by road across the Tanzania / Kenya border to Amboseli and Tortilis Camp. Experience the real Africa sleeping under canvas and waking up to spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. A bit of luxury and seclusion away from the bustle of the main lodges, guests are accommodated in fifteen permanent walk in tents under thatch with en suite facilities. Set at the edge of the park guests may enjoy game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, cultural excursions, and guided walks. The lodge has a pool. AMBOSELI, Tortilis Camp, all inclusive.

DAYS 10, 11, 12 MASAI MARA On day 10 you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip to board your scheduled flight (included) to Nairobi and on to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival you will be met and enjoy an short wildlife drive before lunch at Governor's Il Moran Camp. Set in the Masai Mara (while most of their competitors are not) Governor's Il Moran Tented Camp is comprised of ten tents, all facing the Mara River. The ten tents consist of a large wooden framed bed, carpets, furnishings, and a very large bathroom with separate shower, bath, bidet, toilet, and sink. The main tented camp area consists of a tented lounge with comfortable chairs and pillows and a dining tent.

Il Moran's professional drivers will astonish you with what they find: a tell-tale vulture will lead them to a hyena kill, a warning cry from a mother wildebeest reveals a leopard stalking through the grass. For the experience of a lifetime, drift the dawn over the magnificent plains of the Masai Mara in a hot air balloon (at extra cost). Then enjoy on a champagne breakfast in the bush at the landing site, before returning to camp on a wildlife viewing drive.

Leave your vehicle behind and take a walking safari with one of the camps armed guides for the true thrill of the bush - you’ll experience the untamed beauty of the Mara. You’ll track wildlife, unsure what waits round the next corner, giraffe, buffalo, or lion. You’ll catch the scents and sounds of wild Africa. Surrounding the Mara are the lands of the Masai tribe, a tall, proud race of warriors. Herding cattle and goats, they’ve lived among the animals for centuries. Enjoy visiting Masai villages to see a way of life that’s survived almost unchanged for generations.

Dinners are served privately at your tent, by the outdoor fire or communally in the dining area - you decide each evening which you would prefer. There is no fencing so wildlife is free to wander through at any time. MASAI MARA, Governor's Il Moran, all inclusive

DAY 13 HOME You will enjoy a morning wildlife viewing activity and breakfast before being transferred to the nearby airstrip in time to board your scheduled flight (included) to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Ngong Hills House where you will enjoy lunch and a relaxing afternoon in your day room. This evening you will be transferred to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport in time to board your onward flight.
