Namibia Re-Opening to International Travelers

Namibia is re-opening to international tourists September 1, 2020.

All international arrivals will be through Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek and all travelers must present a negative PCR test result, not older than 72 hours before boarding the plane.

Ethiopian Airlines will resume flights to Namibia on September 11, 2020 and Lufthansa on September 19, 2020. Air Namibia will also be resuming international flights.

The Namibian government has noted that travelers must be available to be swabbed for Covid five  days into their trip and be able to receive results on day 7… they have given no indication how this might work.

The Namibian government has noted that these regulations will be revisited / revised biweekly.

Stay well,

“I first visited Africa in the late 1980s. I came face to face with a wild elephant, and fell in love with being on safari! I made it my goal to create an African travel company that was all about authentic wildlife experiences. Many years later we are one of the top African travel companies in the Americas – known for arranging custom safaris to East and Southern Africa; personal trips, no cookie cutter stuff.”
