Help Dart Rhinos in Rwanda this October

If you want to get hands on, behind the scenes, with Africa’s leading conservationists / wildlife experts this is a super cool opportunity.

 

This October 2018 spend 4 nights in Rwanda’s Akagera National Park. Hang out with the canine anti-poaching unit and dart / monitor Eastern Black Rhinos with the experts. You will be hosted be super safari hero Grant Woodrow!

Here is the itinerary:

 

October 24, 2018: Arrive Akagera. Behind-the-scenes tour and demo with the Canine Unit. Evening talk with veterinarian Pete Morkel on the rhino darting process, how it will play out, and each person’s roles. Overnight Ruzizi Tented Lodge.

October 25, 2018: Full-day rhino darting and monitoring endeavor, wildlife viewing drive, and private sunset boat trip. Overnight Ruzizi Tented Lodge.

October 26, 2018: Full-day rhino endeavor, night game drive. Overnight Ruzizi Tented Lodge.

October 27, 2018: Full-day rhino endeavour, Evening talk about the conservation of Akagera National Park. Overnight Ruzizi Tented Lodge.

October 28, 2018: Morning game drive, road transfer to Kigali for your flight homewards or perhaps spend a few nights in the Virungas gorilla trekking from Bisate Lodge!
